Religion Can't Make Us Good

The 'laws', 'traditions' or habits that many religions require or encourage us to perform or follow (or condemn us for not) do not make us good, and ultimately do not save us from our sins. 'Religion' often carries a stigma of these traditions or routines. However, we cannot improve our position or standing with God through the acts that we perform, no matter how reverent they are - we can never live up to the highest standards that only Jesus Christ could. But the good news is that Jesus' saving grace does this for us - once again, grace changes everything.
